9/27: Manchester Invitational

Another lovely successful day for PAXC across the board. The Freshmen and JV teams each earned second place finishes and the Varsity team took home first place honors in the large school (elite merged) race. There were many PRs, Derryfield debuts, and solid races by the team. Check out the full results at lancertiming.com. A special thanks to our official photographer for the day: Mike Estes. There are a great deal of pictures on the new Manchester Invitational page which can be found on the upper right side of the blog homepage. Enjoy!

9/16: Home Meet vs. Concord and Timberlane

"Owen, that was textbook." -Coach Clark after the starter's pistol was fired.

What a day! Another sub 16 performance, a win for Varsity, a win for JV, and PRs galore. Everyone on the team was well under 20 minutes! Thank you to all the parents and fans who came to cheer on the runners. We really appreciate the support and whether you realize it or not, it DOES help. A shout also goes out to the Long Red Line's #1 fan, Donna, for providing pictures from the meet and for her constant support. She rocks!

For many more pictures from the meet, visit the "Random Pictures" page on the upper right part of the blog homepage. Enjoy.

9/10: 33/30 long run

"Grocery stores deliver?" -Owen

What a wonderful day for a long run. Nice weather and great people. It's such a great way to end each school day.

9/9: Mentor Meet

"One of the greatest gifts one can give to another is to tell him he's appreciated." -Karthas

What a meet! The mentors helped their mentees run very strong. New faces were at the front of the Long Red Line. Some major PRs were had. More importantly, however, there were experiences that I'm confident will be memories forever.

Below: Go that way.

9/6: Paul Letarte Invitational

"Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must, just never give up."

The meet went very well. The team, led by overall winner Nico running a speedy 16:57, placed first, scoring a mere 18 points. Check out the results below. After the race, the team did an excellent job cheering the coaches and meet alumni on during their very own race. The pictures of the team with Coach Clark were taken during the coach's race. The pictures at the water are of the post race Peabody River experience. What an awesome weekend!

"Dragons!"

The trip to Mount Washington for the Paul Letarte Invitational was excellent. It was filled with many great moments to go along with a very successful race on Saturday. There are too many great pictures to just put one on the next two posts, so I've added a few. The rest are in the "Random Pictures" page, so please check it out.
